Invitation by the Alexandria Businessmen Association (ABA) to a Workshop on the Advanced Cargo Information (ACI) System and the Enhanced Export Procedures on “Nafeza” Platform

The company responded to the invitation of the Alexandria Businessmen Association to deliver a workshop on the Advanced Cargo Information (ACI) system and the enhanced export procedures on “Nafeza” platform. The workshop was held at the Association’s headquarters on Thursday, 27 November 2025, under the leadership of Mr. Haitham El-Qayyar, Secretary-General; Mr. Walid El-Qayyar, Head of the Import Committee; Mr. Abdel Aal Ali, Head of the Customs Committee; Mr. Mohamed Abdel Mohsen, Consultant to the Import Committee; and Mr. Mohamed EArjawy Chairman of the Customs Brokers Division in Alexandria.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Sami Ramadan, Deputy Head of the Egyptian Customs Authority; Brigadier Mohamed Rashwan, Head of the Human Resources and Capacity Building Sector at the Authority; Ms. Nesreen Khalil, Director General of Training Programs Implementation; and Dr. Mahmoud Nour, Director of Logistics Centers Follow-up.

From MTS, the attendees included Eng. Khaled Nassef, Official Spokesman and Media Advisor of the company; Eng. Osama Kaddal, Head of the Technical and Technology Sector; Mr. Mohsen Amin, Consultant to the Chairman; Mr. Ahmed Mostafa, Manager of the ACI Project; Eng. Mohamed Khamis Business Analysis Manager and Export Project Manager and Ms. Amira Mohamed Team Lead of Business Analysis Dep.

The workshop saw the participation of a distinguished group of businessmen in the fields of import, export, shipping, and customs clearance in Alexandria.

The session was moderated by Mr. Abdel Aal Ali, who welcomed the attendees. He was followed by Dr. Sami Ramadan, who spoke about the role of the Customs Authority and “Nafeza” platform, emphasizing the continuous cooperation between the Customs Authority and MTS “Nafeza” in developing the system and facilitating procedures to reduce clearance times. Brigadier Mohamed Rashwan then presented a video on the ACI Aviation system developed by the Customs Authority’s Training Institute.

Eng. Khaled Nassef delivered a brief speech in which he thanked the Alexandria Businessmen Association and highlighted, with figures, the achievements of Nafeza since its launch.

Then Mr. Ahmed Mostafa presented a detailed overview of the ACI Aviation system, followed by a presentation by Eng. Mohamed Khamis and Ms. Amira Mohamed explaining the enhanced export procedures that will be implemented on “Nafeza” platform. Attendees raised several questions regarding both systems, which were addressed by representatives of the Customs Authority and the MTS team.

At the end of the session, the Association honored Dr. Sami Ramadan, Brigadier Mohamed Rashwan, and Eng. Khaled Nassef.
