Introductory Workshop on the (ACI Aviation) and the Enhanced Export Procedures Cycle on “Nafeza” Platform for the Chemicals Export Council

The Exporters Support Unit at the Egyptian Customs Authority, headed by Mr. Ahmed El-Askalany, Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Customs Authority, and Mr. Amr Abou El-Nour, CEO of the Unit, in cooperation with the Chemicals and Fertilizers Export Council, headed by Mr. Mohamed Maged, Executive Director, organized an introductory workshop on the (ACI Aviation) system and the enhanced export procedures cycle on “Nafeza” platform.

The workshop was held at the Ministry of Finance headquarters on Monday, 22 December 2025.

The workshop was attended by Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud, General Director of Postal Parcels Customs at Cairo Airport; Ms. Rasha Assafour, Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Office of the Head of the Authority and Head of the Communication and Media Committee at the Exporters Support Unit; Mr. Mohamed Asla, Head of the ACI Unit at the Egyptian Customs Authority; and Ms. Dina Samuel, Media and Marketing Manager at the Export Council.

Representing MTS were Eng. Khaled Nassef, Official Spokesman and Media Advisor; Mr. Ahmed Mostafa, ACI Project Manager; and Ms. Amira El-Fateh, Team Lead of Business Analysis Dep.

The workshop was opened by Mr. Mohamed Maged with a welcoming speech in which he thanked attendees for their active participation and emphasized the importance of continuous cooperation between the Egyptian Customs Authority, MTS, and the business community to ensure the successful implementation of both the Air Cargo ACI system and the Export System.

Mr. Ahmed El-Askalany then delivered a detailed presentation outlining the customs development plan and highlighting the role of the ACI Air system and the new Export System on “Nafeza” platform, stressing the importance of integration and linkage among all concerned entities.

Eng. Khaled Nassef also delivered a brief address, expressing his appreciation to representatives of the Customs Authority, the Export Council, and the business community, and presenting key achievements and figures reflecting the success of “Nafeza” platform since its launch in 2019 to date.

The workshop included a detailed presentation by Ms. Amira El-Fateh on the enhanced export procedures cycle to be implemented on “Nafeza” platform, followed by a presentation by Mr. Ahmed Mostafa on the (ACI Air) system. 

The session concluded with an open discussion, during which attendees’ questions and inquiries were addressed by representatives of the Egyptian Customs Authority and MTS team.
