Advance Cargo Information (ACI) system for Air Shipments Workshop

The Central Administration of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Program, led by Ms. Amal Nous Gendy, Head of the AEO Central Administration at the Egyptian Customs Authority, in cooperation with MTS, organized a specialized workshop on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Ministry of Finance headquarters.

The workshop was held in preparation for the mandatory implementation of the Advance Cargo Information (ACI) system for air shipments, effective January 1, 2026, as part of the government’s efforts to modernize the customs system and facilitate trade movement.

The event was attended by senior officials, including Mr. Sami Ramadan, Deputy Head of the Egyptian Customs Authority, and Mr. Hussein Dwidar, General Manager at the Central Administration. Representing MTS were Eng. Gamal Kotb, General Manager; Eng. Khaled Nasr, Official Spokesperson and Media Advisor; Mr. Mohsen Amin, Advisor to the Chairman and Managing Director; Mr. Ahmed Mostafa, ACI Project Manager; and Mr. Ahmed Turky, Team Leader, along with members of the MTS team.
